Louisiana Planning Medicaid 1115 Waiver For Reentry Demonstration

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) is planning to submit a Medicaid 1115 waiver application for a reentry demonstration that would provide certain services for Medicaid-eligible individuals who are incarcerated during the 90-day pre-release period. The services would include case management, mental health evaluation, peer support services, medication-assisted treatment, and counseling for addiction disorders, laboratory services, durable medical equipment, and a 30-day supply of all prescription medications.
