Tennessee Submits Section 1115 Waiver Amendment To Expand Coverage For Working Individuals With Disabilities

The Tennessee division of Medicaid (TennCare) plans to expand coverage for working individuals with disabilities. It has been preparing an amendment to its Medicaid section 1115 demonstration entitled “TennCare III.” The plans call for individuals who qualify for TennCare in the Work Incentives Group to receive the full TennCare benefits package as provided to all other persons enrolled in TennCare.
