Radical Hospitality For Addiction Treatment
Of the over 54 million people in the U.S. who need substance abuse treatment (SAT), only a quarter (23%) receive treatment. That’s a key statistics in the recent survey analysis released in July by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) (see;Key Substance Use & Mental Health Indicators In The United States).
The survey data revealed of people 12 and older with a substance abuse disorder (SUD), 44% reported alcohol disorder only. 15.6% had both an alcohol and drug use disorder combined, and 40.5% had a drug use disorder only.
