Canadian Government Launches Autism Strategy & A National Autism Network
On September 26, 2024, the Government of Canada announced the launch of the Framework for Autism in Canada, Canada’s Autism Strategy, and the National Autism Network call for applications. The goal of these efforts is to support the needs of all persons with disabilities in Canada, including people with neurodevelopmental conditions like autism, and those who care for them. These efforts were developed collaboratively with those with autism, their families, caregivers, provinces, territories, indigenous organizations, and other stakeholders through the Federal-Provincial-Territorial working group.
