Medicare Beneficiaries With Remote Monitoring Claims Up 10X In Four Years

Between 2019 and 2022, the number of Medicare beneficiaries with claims for remote monitoring increased from 55,000 in 2019 to more than 570,000 in 2022. The use of remote monitoring increased for both traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage. In traditional Medicare, the number of beneficiaries with remote monitoring claims was nine times higher in 2022 compared to 2019. In Medicare Advantage, the number of members with claims was 14 times higher.
