Idaho Behavioral Health Council Recommends State Strengthen Workforce, Crisis Services & Housing
In its 2024 recommendations to the state legislature, the Idaho Behavioral Health Council (BHC) advised strengthening the behavioral health workforce, enhancing crisis services, and expanding access to supportive housing for people with behavioral health disorders. The state is in the process of implementing a unique certified community behavioral health center (CCBHC) model that fully integrates physical and behavioral health services.
