10 Michigan Behavioral Health Provider Organizations Creating Adult Crisis Stabilization Units

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) selected 10 state behavioral health agencies to create Adult Crisis Stabilization Units (CSUs), as part of a $32 million investment included in the fiscal 2023 budget. The adult CSUs will be in nine counties: Clinton, Eaton, Genesee, Ingham, Kalamazoo, Kent, Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne. Once all sites are operational, 57% of Michigan residents will have in-county access to behavioral health crisis stabilization services.
