New ADHD Diagnoses In Finland Doubled During COVID-19
Between 2020 and 2022, the rate of new attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnoses in Finland doubled from 238 per 100,000 in 2020 to 477 per 100,000 in 2022. The population lifetime prevalence of ADHD from 2015 to 2022 increased 2.7-fold, rising from 1.02% in 2015 to 1.80% in 2020, to 2.76% in 2022.
