Maryland Medicaid To Expand Housing Support Pilot Statewide
The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) plans to increase the number of Medicaid beneficiaries able to participate in housing and tenancy-based case management services for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The plans were noted in an amendment to the state’s Health Choice 1115 waiver submitted for federal approval on November 14, 2024.
