A Blueprint For Integration: Key Components Of A Clinically Integrated Network – ONEcare Population Health Academy Announces January 22 Webinar
Gettysburg, PA. (January 5, 2025) – OPEN MINDS announced today the confirmed date and topic for the second webinar in a virtual learning series on population health and whole person care, sponsored by the new ONEcare Population Health Academy in partnership with Alera Health & OPEN MINDS. Blueprint for Integration: Key Components of a Clinically Integrated Network will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025 from 1–2 p.m. ET, and is hosted by Alera Health.
The webinar will focus on the evolution of clinically integrated networks (CINs) as a model for health plans and providers to address the challenges faced with 10% of consumers utilizing 70% of healthcare spend. There are over 80 different integrated care models in the market today representing a variety of the different approaches health plans, state agencies, and providers are utilizing to improve care and lower costs for complex needs populations, with value-based CINs as one of those models.
The webinar’s faculty will highlight how to build and participate in a CIN, featuring Alera Health’s SVP of Legal Affairs, Seth Terndrup, and SVP of Network Development, Leesa Bain. “We want to simplify and articulate the steps for building CINs to encourage participation and help provider organizations realize the do-ability,” stated Ms. Bain. She and Mr. Terndrup will provide key insights into the construction of a CIN, including implementation of the legal infrastructure, governance documents, regulatory compliance, and essential policies and procedures.
“Nonprofit specialty behavioral health organizations are eagerly seeking information about participation in evolving integrated care networks, from governance and decision making to advanced payment participation and technology integration and application,” says Carol D. Clayton, PhD, Senior Associate with OPEN MINDS. “2025 is the year that specialty provider organizations will need an integrated care strategy and this webinar will assist providers with the building blocks needed to consider integrated-care network configuration and participation.”
Building on the most recent webinar sponsored by the ONEcare Population Health Academy, which focused on the evolution of population health models, including CINs, Mr. Terndrup and Ms. Bain will walk listeners through the tenets of CIN formation, including the the pros and cons of participation, and the basic legal, governance, and operating issues that executives need to understand before making the decision to form or join a CIN.
Join us on January 22nd, from 1–2 p.m. ET to learn more about building and participating in your own Clinically Integrated Network. By registering for this webinar, attendees will gain complimentary access the ONEcare Population Health Academy, a learning community focused on whole person care and value-based care sponsored by Alera Health in partnership with OPEN MINDS.
