11% Of Those With Type 1 Diabetes Served By FQHCs Are Prescribed Continuous Glucose Monitoring
About 11% of those with Type 1 diabetes (T1D) who are served by federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) are prescribed continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology. For those with Type 2 diabetes (T2D), the CGM prescribing rate in FQHCs was just 1%. However, CGM prescription rates did increase between 2014 and 2021.
