Nevada To Award Four Contracts For Dual Special Needs Program
Following a competitive procurement, Nevada announced tentative awards to four organizations to provide coordination-only (CO) Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-DNP) to expand the CO D-SNP program statewide and include more types of dual eligibles. The Nevada Division of Health Care Financing and Policy (DHCFP) intends to award contracts to HMO Colorado, Inc. doing business as HMO Nevada; SelectHealth; Humana Wisconsin Organization Insurance Corporation; and UnitedHealthcare Benefits of Texas, Inc. With these awards, the number of programs managing D-SNP benefits will go from nine to four.
