Federal Government Halts Rule Communications Until February 1, 2025
On January 22, 2024, President Donald J. Trump issued a memorandum requesting a freeze on federal rules and related federal rule communications until such communications had been approved by a political appointee. The pause is in effect through February 1, 2025.
