Delaware Medicaid Launches New Pediatric Global Payment Model With Nemours Children’s Health

The Delaware Medicaid program and Nemours Children’s Health launched a new “pediatric global revenue budget” model to reimburse Nemours for services provided to child Medicaid beneficiaries. The model has payment incentives linked to population health, and Nemours will be able to use the funding to cover the costs of medical and non-medical drivers of children’s health with the goal of avoiding unnecessary medical expenses.
