Staffing Is The Top Challenge For 55% Of Home-Based Care Leaders Surveyed

The home care industry's greatest challenge is staffing, according to 55% of surveyed home-based care industry professionals. The share who cited staffing as a key concern is 4% lower than in 2024. About 30% of respondents said that their companies could achieve the greatest business efficiencies by addressing this area.

Considering growth, 65% of respondents said that organic growth is their preferred strategy for 2025. Just 19% said that they would focus on joint ventures or partnerships, and even fewer are considering mergers and acquisitions (9%) or new locations (7%).
