Illinois Medicaid Awards D-SNP Contracts To Four Health Plans
On March 6, 2025, the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) awarded Medicaid contracts to four health plans for the state’s dual eligible special needs plan (D-SNP) model for the state’s beneficiaries eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid. The aggregate contract value is estimated at $12 billion, divided equally.
