Oregon Medicaid Seeks Renewal Of Addiction Treatment Demonstration
On March 26, 2025, Oregon submitted a request to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to extend its Oregon Health Plan Substance Use Disorder (SUD) 1115 Demonstration for another five years. Under the request, the state stated that it intends to both continue the program as currently approved and also seek new authority to provide contingency management incentives as a medical intervention to any eligible demonstration individuals.
