Arizona Division Of Developmental Disabilities To Implement Cost-Cutting Strategies

In response to a $122 million budget shortfall in 2025, the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) will implement cost-cutting strategies starting July 1, 2025. These strategies primarily include an hourly cap on the Parents as Paid Caregivers program, strengthened assessments, and linking visit verification to billing. The goal is to maintain services for the nearly 60,000 Arizona residents with developmental disabilities.
