Pennsylvania’s Youth & Family Training Institute Announces Six Awardees For Family Navigator Pilot
On May 22, 2025, the Pennsylvania Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) and the Youth and Family Training Institute (YFTI) at the University of Pittsburgh announced six grant awards for a Family Navigator Pilot for children and young adults with serious emotional disturbance (SED). During the two-year pilot, the grantees will define, develop, implement, and evaluate a family navigator model that promotes early access, engagement, coordination, and optimization of mental health treatment and services for a child with SED. The pilot is slated to start July 1, 2025.
