Judge Orders More Than 100 Youths Moved From L.A. County Juvenile Hall 

In April 2025, a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge issued an order directing the Los Angeles County Probation Department to begin depopulating the Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall in Downey, California, without closing it entirely.
