Supreme Court Narrows Medicaid Beneficiary Right To Sue
Medicaid beneficiaries lack standing to sue states to enforce the Medicaid Act’s “free choice of provider” provision if a state chooses not to permit a provider organization to participate, according to a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling. The June 26, 2025, ruling was in Medina v. Planned Parenthood of the South Atlantic.
