U.S. House Committee On Homeland Security Launches Probe Of Aid To Migrants From Nongovernmental Organizations 

On June 11, 2025, the House Committee on Homeland Security and the Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Accountability launched a probe into more than 200 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that the committee believes were involved in providing services or support to “inadmissible aliens” during the previous administration. Committee chair Mark E. Green and subcommittee chair Josh Brecheen sent letters to each of the NGOs requesting information about any form of assistance they provided to undocumented immigrants or unaccompanied alien children since January 2021. ;;

The letters asked the NGOs to complete a survey about government grants, contracts, and disbursements . . .
