New York Implements New Regulation On Network Adequacy For Behavioral Health Treatment 

On July 8, 2025, New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced that a new network adequacy regulation now gives New Yorkers with qualifying health insurance plans access to an initial outpatient appointment for behavioral health care within 10 business days of the request.
