More than 90% of Medicaid expansion beneficiaries already work, are looking for a job, are in school, have a disability, or have health issues, according to a recent study by researchers at the Urban Institute. The statistics are based on an analysis of data from Arkansas and New Hampshire, which previously implemented work requirements for Medicaid expansion beneficiaries (non-disabled, childless adults ages 19 to 64, earning 138% or less of the federal poverty level).;
