In a study of young adult cancer survivors, unemployment was associated with self-reported adverse physical health, mental health, and well-being. Returning to work after completion of therapy is an important milestone for previously employed survivors, but some younger adult survivors may have difficulties finding or maintaining employment, the study stated.
