Federal MAHA Commission Unveils Strategy To ‘Make Our Children Healthy Again’

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced the release of the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission's “Make Our Children Healthy Again Strategy,” which it described as “a sweeping plan with more than 120 initiatives to reverse the failed policies that fueled America’s childhood chronic disease epidemic.” The Commission is tasked with investigating and addressing the root causes of America’s escalating health crisis, the announcement stated. The strategy outlines targeted executive actions that are intended to result in realigned incentives, increased public awareness, and strengthened private-sector collaboration, according to the announcement.
