Social Current Launches Five & Rising To Assist Social Sector Communities

Social Current, a partner to more than 1,800 human and social service organizations in the U.S., Canada, and beyond, launched Five & Rising, a national movement to enable the full potential of non-profit organizations in the social sector, according to a recent announcement. Five & Rising’s name is a reference to the social sector's 5.2% share of U.S. gross domestic product (GDP). Working with communities across the country, Five & Rising co-creates funding models, challenges broken norms, and builds the infrastructure needed for systemic change.
