About 94% of youth and young adults ages 14 to 25 (Gen Z) report experiencing frequent mental health challenges, according to a new poll by Blue Shield of California's BlueSky youth mental health initiative and Children Now, a non-partisan California-based research and policy organization. Partnerships with parents, teachers, and youth leaders to address those challenges could include improved youth mental health support systems, increased access to professional services, expanded peer support, education, and advocacy, the researchers concluded.
