Senior Living Occupancy Increased To 88.7% In The Third Quarter Of 2025 

he national occupancy rate for senior living properties for the third quarter of 2025 was 88.7%, which was an increase of 70 basis points from the previous quarter, according to the latest analysis by the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC). The average occupancy for independent living properties grew to 90.2% in the third quarter, an increase of 50 basis points.
