Arizona DDD Begins Using A New Developmental Disability Assessment For Children To Determine Eligibility For Medicaid Paid Parent Provider Program

On October 1, 2025, the Arizona Medicaid program began implementing a new, standardized assessment tool to determine the need for extraordinary care for children served through the Parents as Paid Caregivers (PPCG) program. The new assessment is required by Arizona House Bill (HB) 2945, which was signed on April 24, 2025.
