About 56.7% Of Medicare Beneficiaries Eligible For The Medicare Savings Programs Enrolled

About 56.7% of Medicare beneficiaries eligible to participate in one of the three Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs) from 2018 to 2020 actually enrolled, a study has found. For the analysis, the researchers used data for 2018, 2019, and 2020 from the nationally representative Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey (MCBS). The study represented 179,221,355 beneficiary years. Eligibility for MSP was determined based on responses to the income and assets questionnaire within the MCBS.
