Connecticut Judicial Branch Awards $14 Million Mental Health Services Contract To Yale University, Will Serve Accused Juveniles
The Connecticut Judicial Branch Support Services Division (JBCSSD) selected Yale University for a three-year contract valued at $14 million to provide mental health services to youth involved with the juvenile justice system. The contract term started on July 1, 2025, and runs through June 30, 2028.
The JBCSSD provides the criminal and juvenile courts with a system of community-based care that includes supervision and services for accused and adjudicated juveniles and court-involved adults. The programs are intended to discourage recidivism and to increase protective factors among court-involved populations.
