California’s Community Reentry Program For Parolees Resulted In Improved Recidivism Rates
Participants in California’s community reentry programs—also known as Enhanced Alternative Custody Programs (EACP)—have lower recidivism rates compared to those not participating in the programs, according to a new report from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). ECAP encompasses gender-specific community reentry programs for men and women.
