San Diego County, California, awarded contracts valued together at more than $4.8 million over five years to Episcopal Community Services (ECS) of San Diego to provide transitional housing and supportive services to homeless adults diagnosed with a serious mental illness (SMI) or substance use disorder (SUD). Adults with SMI will be served through the 19-bed Safe Haven program. Adults with SUD will be served through the 22-bed Community Harm Reduction Team (C-HRT) Safe Haven program.
