Personal Care Turnover Hits 126% In 2025

Monthly turnover rates for personal care staff increased from an average of 9.8% per month in 2023 to 10.5% in early 2025, according to a recent survey report. That annualizes to a turnover rate of 126%, meaning personal care provider organizations are replacing more direct care staff than they employ on average, leading to higher training and onboarding costs and more risk of care disruptions.
