Canadian Childhood, Youth Autism Prevalence Reaches 2.25% In 2024
About 2.25% of Canadian children and youth had been diagnosed with autism as of 2024, according to Canadian surveillance data. In the United States, about 3.22% of 8-year-old children had autism in 2022, according to estimates released in 2025 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
