SAMHSA Rebids 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Administrator Contract
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is rebidding its contract for administering the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The administrator will be responsible for managing, enhancing, and strengthening the 988 Lifeline. The contract is currently held by Vibrant Emotional Health (formerly known as the Mental Health Association of New York City), which administers a network of more than 200 local crisis contact centers.
