Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation Launches National Program To Bolster Mental Health Diversion Initiatives
The Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation (BMS Foundation) announced the launch of a national grant program to support mental health diversion initiatives. The initial four grants support crisis response, community-based treatment, court-based intervention, and longer-term care coordination. The goal is to expand access to behavioral health services for medically underserved individuals and reduce incarceration and recidivism rates. The grants were awarded to Judges and Psychiatrists Leadership Initiative, Advocate Program, Dade County Street Response, and the Georgia Pines Community Service Board. The BMS Foundation did not release the grant amounts.
