Colorado Delays 10% Medicaid Rates Cut For Community Connector Waiver Service
The Colorado legislature delayed implementing a 10% cut to the Medicaid Community Connector program that had been slated to take effect on April 1, 2026. The cuts will not go into effect during the current fiscal year, according to a spokesperson for the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF). The legislature's Joint Budget Committee intends to resume discussions about this and other budget reduction measures that were called for in the Governor's fiscal year 2026-2027 budget.
