OPEN MINDS Hosts Executive Roundtable On Diagnostic Model For Service Line Development

Gettysburg, PA (February 16, 2025)OPEN MINDS invites health and human service executives to join Gulf Coast Center for an OPEN MINDS Executive Roundtable, Building A New Service Line: The Diagnostic Checklist & Leadership Intervention Playbook, to be held February 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. ET.

This one-hour executive webinar will introduce a structured, four-part diagnostic model designed to help leadership teams evaluate and strengthen service line development before financial or operational issues take root. The framework integrates a SWOT assessment to clarify internal capabilities and external market forces, strategic framework selection to guide disciplined growth decisions, a 360° leadership and alignment assessment, and a practical intervention playbook for course correction.

The session will feature M. Renee Valdez, M.D., Ph.D., Chief Medical Officer at Gulf Coast Center, who will demonstrate how executive teams can apply this model to identify gaps in strategy, alignment, and culture—and intervene early to protect performance, mission integrity, and long-term sustainability.

“Executive teams pursuing service line diversification need more than opportunity—they need disciplined evaluation,” said Monica E. Oss, Chief Executive Officer of OPEN MINDS. “A structured diagnostic process gives leaders the clarity to assess risk, align investments with strategy, and position new service lines for long-term success.”
