OPEN MINDS Hosts Executive Roundtable On Replicable Technology Adoption Framework In I/DD Services
Gettysburg, PA (February 28, 2025)—As provider organizations serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) face mounting workforce pressure, compliance complexity, and reimbursement constraints, great technology adoption offers a path forward. Yet many health and human organizations continue implementing and scaling the technology their strategic plans call for.
To address this challenge, OPEN MINDS will host an Executive Roundtable, A Replicable Framework For Tech Adoption In I/DD Services: The NuPath Case Study, on March 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. ET, featuring leaders from NuPath, a Massachusetts-based I/DD provider organization.
The session will examine how NuPath implemented a HIPAA-compliant, mobile-first software platform that reshaped internal communication, documentation workflows, and family engagement processes across its service programs. The initiative resulted in a 57% increase in time spent in the community, a 13% reduction in staff documentation time, and a 14% increase in revenue.
“For technology to drive measurable impact, adoption must extend beyond implementation,” said Monica E. Oss, Chief Executive Officer of OPEN MINDS. “Successful organizations align executive leadership, frontline staff, consumers, and payers around a clear implementation strategy that integrates technology into core service delivery.”
Participants in the Roundtable will learn how to create a consistent plan for using technology in I/DD services, incorporate digital tools into everyday work, and find ways to improve engagement, compliance, and financial results through technology-driven methods.
The Executive Roundtable is part of the ongoing OPEN MINDS series designed to provide senior leaders with case-based strategies for operational excellence and sustainable growth.
