Hawaii Medicaid Rebids $60M BHO Contract For Adult Community Mental Health Services
The Hawaii Department of Human Services (DHS) released Request for Proposals (RFP-MQD-2026-001) to rebid its Community Care Services (CCS) Program behavioral health organization (BHO) contract for statewide management of adult community mental health services. The incumbent contractor, Ohana Health Plan (a Centene subsidiary), has held the contract since 2013.
The RFP was released February 13, 2026, with proposals due March 20, 2026. The new contract is scheduled to begin July 1, 2026, and run through June 30, 2029, with three optional one-year extensions. The contract is valued at approximately $60 million annually.
