Louisiana To Stop Diverting Federal Benefits For Foster Children

Louisiana is implementing a new policy to stop diverting federal benefits, such as Social Security survivor benefits, owed to foster youth, according to an Executive Order. The Order was issued the same day the governor issued a proclamation, “A Home for Every Child.”
