Mental Health Supports Expanded To All Washoe County, Nevada School District Students & Staff Through Care Solace

The Washoe County School District (WCSD) in Nevada announced that it is expanding access to mental health and substance use support for students, staff, and their families through Care Solace, a no-cost service that helps individuals quickly connect with mental health provider organizations and community resources.

Care Solace does not provide therapy directly. Instead, trained care coordinators work one-on-one with individuals to identify appropriate provider organizations based on insurance, location, language, and personal preferences. Support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by phone, email, or online.
