RxWallet Goes Live On FDB Vela, Expanding Real-Time Prescription Price Transparency For Consumers

First Databank, Inc. (FDB) and RxEOB have announced that the RxWallet consumer smartphone app is now connected to the FDB Vela cloud-native electronic prescribing (ePrescribing) network.

The integration allows consumers to view personalized prescription pricing, compare pharmacy options by cost and location, and make more informed decisions about where to fill a prescription without a visit to the pharmacy. Once a prescriber sends a prescription through the FDB Vela network, RxWallet can receive that information and present the consumer with pricing estimates; available discounts or coupons; and the option to route the prescription to a pharmacy of their choosing . . .
