Basata, an artificial intelligence (AI) company focused on health care referral and scheduling administration, raised $21 million in Series A funding. According to the company, the funding will be used to expand its platform and automate specialty-specific administrative workflows.
The funding round was led by Basis Set Ventures, with participation from Cowboy Ventures, PHX Ventures, Zenda Capital, and Victoria Treyger. The company reported total funding of approximately $24.5 million to date.
