Bristol Myers Squibb & Anthropic Agreement Positions Claude AI Enterprise As Its Shared Intelligence Platform Across Global Operations
Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) has announced an agreement with Anthropic to deploy the Claude artificial intelligence (AI) platform across its research, clinical development, manufacturing, commercial, and corporate functions. The deployment will give more than 30,000 employees access to Claude's reasoning and agentic capabilities.
BMS has identified three near-term priorities for the deployment.
The first is accelerating software development. Engineering and data science teams will use Claude Code to standardize how they build and deploy capabilities across the enterprise.
