Alaska Awards $15 Million Crisis Contact Center Services Contract To Careline Crisis Services

The Alaska Department of Health, Division of Behavioral Health awarded a five-year contract valued at $15.1 million to Careline Crisis Services, Inc. to provide statewide crisis contact center services. The contract runs from the date of award for one year, followed by four one-year renewal options. Careline Crisis Services was the incumbent under a contract awarded in July 2022.

The services include a 24-hour, toll-free, and confidential support hotline for anyone experiencing suicidal crisis or emotional distress. In fiscal year 2025, Careline Crisis Services handled 43,769 contacts, 35% more than the 32,470 contacts . . .
