Medically tailored meals (MTMs) are associated with positive health outcomes. Among Medicaid members in Massachusetts who received MTMs), hospitalizations fell by 31% and emergency department (ED) visits dropped by 20% compared with eligible members who did not receive meals, according to a recent study.
