Mira by Psyrin Wins 2026 OPEN MINDS Investment Pitch Day Competition, Sponsored By Vista Care
New Orleans, LA (June 2026) — OPEN MINDS announced Mira by Psyrin as the winner of the third annual OPEN MINDS Investment Pitch Day, sponsored by Vista Care. Mira is an AI-powered clinical assistant that streamlines intake, conducts structured psychiatric interviews, and automates documentation, helping organizations increase capacity and improve care for individuals with serious mental illness. Edwin Wong, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of Psyrin, presented on behalf of co-founders Raheem Chaudhry, M.B.B.S., Chief Operating Officer, and Julianna Olah, Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer, and accepted a prize package valued at more than $40,000 during The 2026 OPEN MINDS Strategy & Innovation Institute in New Orleans.

Judges recognized Mira for its potential to expand clinical capacity, improve efficiency, and strengthen access to care for individuals with serious mental illness.
The competing organizations were selected from dozens of competitive applicants across key areas of innovation in tech-enabled care delivery for populations with addiction and substance use disorder, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and other complex mental health conditions.
“This was the tightest competition we’ve ever had,” said Paul Duck, Chief Strategy Officer at OPEN MINDS and moderator of Pitch Day. “The judges agreed that many of these organizations are investment-ready today, and all demonstrated strong potential for future growth and scale.”
